Stockton, CA – Aero Turbine Inc. was able to successfully win our first-ever Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case with the Mexican Ministry of Defense (SEDENA), with the invaluable assistance from the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service office in Mexico City, the International Trade Administration (ITA) Advocacy Center, the California State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz).
The award ceremony was held at Aero Turbine’s Stockton California facilities on 24 March, 2022 and presided by Congressman Jerry McNerney. The auspicious event was also attended by the Honorable Mayor Kevin Lincoln II, Ms. Denise Sahatdjian from Senator Feinstein’s Office, Mr. Roberto Rizo from Senator Padilla’s Office, Mr. George Tastard, Mr. Tony Hill, and Mr. Rod Hirsch from the US Commerce Department, Ms. Emily Desai and Ms. Mariana Guevara from the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, Mr. Tom Patti and Mr. Scott Tyrell from San Joaquin Valley Board of Supervisors, Mr. Les Fong from the Northern California Small Business Development Center, Mr. Ed Wanket from the San Joaquin County Economic Development Office, Mr. John Lee from the Northern California District Export Council, and Mr. Russ Stark, Director of the Stockton Airport
The Export Achievement Certificate was created to recognize small and medium-sized enterprises that have successfully entered the international marketplace for the first time or that have successfully entered a new market. This certificate is awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration.
